We love to take pictures, of anything and everything.  People, places, nature, anything.  We'll take portrait shots of you and your family, head shots for professional or theatrical use, event photos of weddings, parties, or galas. We'll document people in any setting, or take product photos for advertising.  Be it real estate, insurance needs, baby photos...we'll be glad to give you quality photographs, whatever your needs.  And we don't mind traveling to get the pictures you need.*

We use a Canon Rebel 2000 35mm SLR camera.  We lenses up to 300mm, as well as professional lights, and backdrops we can bring to you.  We can use black and white film, color film, or both. We can also shoot slide film if you'd like.

A major goal of MediaPalette photo services is to make you feel personally comfortable with us. We can assure you that we'll exercise the utmost respect and consideration when coming into your life to capture your special moments, and unforgettable memories. We love to make people feel happy, so we bring a lot of positive energy to each shoot we do.  We make an effort to be unassuming and unobtrusive.  We will not be disruptive to the natural atmosphere of your event.  Being discrete is something we care very much about. We are completely non-judgmental when it comes to photography, so you need not be self-conscious, or embarrassed when we come to photograph you and your family or friends. And we know how to bring out the best in our subject and make people want to smile.

When your photographs are done, you'll get two complete sets of prints, an optional CD of your photos, as well as the 35mm negatives. In addition, we can give you high-resolution scans of your favorite picks, in case you want to publish them in print.  We suggest that you save money and have enlargements made independently of us, but if you'd like, we can make the enlargements you request.

* If you require us to travel in order to get the photos you seek, travel expenses must be paid in advance.

We charge $75/hour to take photographs and expect payment the same day we work for you. After your check has cleared, we will develop the film and get you your finished prints. Or simply hand over the rolls of film to you, should you desire to process the film yourself.  Some photographers make most of their money on the reprints and enlargements, but that is not our mission. Our goal is to give you stellar images that will last forever, not to nickel and dime you to death with photo finishing services. In addition to our hourly rate, we also require that you pay for the film and developing in advance.
