Video Shooting
|
We use a
Panasonic AG-DVX100A
mini-DV Video Camera. The picture
quality is excellent, and the image is warm, instead of
the cool-blue tones commonly produced by other video cameras.
We can produce Public Service Announcements, Commercials, Documentaries,
Music Videos, Infomercials, Instructional Videos, Wedding & Event Videos,
or Dramatic Productions. Basically, whatever you want shot, we can do the
job.
We will videotape virtually anything and will travel to any location in
America. However, the client is responsible for covering the cost of
all transportation and lodging in advance. And, 50% of the total charges
must be paid at the end of the first day of shooting.

Adobe Premier
Pro 7 and
Final Cut Pro 3 are the two non-linear
editing systems we use. We edit mini-DV tape, but can have any video
format converted to DV for easy capturing of video clips. We can provide you
with voice over talent, background music, video effects & filters, text and
titles, countdown clock, color bars & tone, and credits. We can add
filters that give your video a filmic look as well.
Editing can be
reasonably priced if the preproduction is thorough. We will work with
you to determine the best concept or theme for your video, and make
suggestions to help keep your costs down. The more clear your vision
of your film, the faster and easier it will be to edit a product to your
liking.

Photography
 |
We love to take pictures, of virtually anything
and everything. We use Canon 35mm SLR cameras, as well as digital cameras
upon request. We will come to you, you can come to us, or we can seek out
and photograph the object or subject of your choosing. If you want a photo of
something, we will go out and find it and send you a low resolution version
for your review. We can do events like weddings, birthdays, or
anniversaries. Or, we can take head shots, modeling photos, products
shots, or generic items like fences, trees or shoes.
Photographers often charge a lot of money for
a single photo because it is their sole
means of income. But at Mediapalette, photography is only one of the many
ways we generate income, so we keep our prices reasonable, and quality high.

Web Design

Web sites are much easier to build than many
people think, and designer costs are usually grossly inflated. Our
approach is to give you a good looking, fully functional web site without
breaking your bank. We won't nickel and dime you to death. We want to
make your business or organization look clean and professional. We have
access to Macromedia Flash and lots of java scripts and animated gifs, but
we find that for the money and universal accessibility, a good site has more
to do with excellent organization and exceptional appearance than it does with
fancy bells and whistles. We use Microsoft FrontPage to build and publish
web sites, and we know where you can host your site inexpensively.

Print Design

Our print materials come in all shapes and
sizes. We can create brochures, flyers, catalogues, folder art, bumper stickers,
pins, posters, software covers, CD covers, menus, even annual reports.
Whatever you're needs, we'll help you meet them. We'll even give you
some design templates to choose from if you don't want a completely original
layout. We will send the design files to the printer of your choice, or we
can find a printer in your area and make the arrangements ourselves.
We'll ask you to "sign off" on the project at different stages of proofing
and design. Our main designware includes
Adobe Photoshop, Quark Express,
and Corel Draw,
however we also have Pagemaker and Adobe Illustrator for file conversions.
We can also prepare your documents as Acrobat PDFs, gifs, EPS, or HTML
files.

you get out your boxes of photos, or stack of photo albums? With a
Moving Memory music video, set
to the song and style of your choosing, you can pop in the cassette and
watch your kids grow up all over again, any time you want. It's sure
to bring you smiles and tears, and makes a great gift for all the members of
your family. We take care to protect your precious photos, and return
them to you via express mail. The basic package includes 5 VHS copies, 5
computer CD copies, and one Mini DV master tape. The basic package costs
$285 and includes a maximum of your 100 photos per song.

Editorial
Services

Not all documents require the same style or
editorial approach. We edit manuscripts, write ad copy, and have a
knack for tag lines and catch phrases. We will help you craft new
text, or edit existing documents to achieve the feel and meaning your ideas
warrant. We can read Mac or PC files from MS Word, MS Publisher, Quark Express,
PageMaker, Acrobat, or any text based file other than Unix.
We'll work on books, magazines, brochures,
catalogues, web sites, invitations, whatever... we can make your
messages and manuscripts come to life.
